Yet another chilly day but mercifully no rain and the wind subsided to leave a reasonably pleasant evening which ended up in a win for Adderbury by 4.5 to 0.5 rinks or 92 - 57.

Thanks are extended to Maggie and Chris Skidmore for setting up the room for us and to Jenny Bird for running the bar on a fairly busy evening.

Rink 1

Yvonne Twomey, Chris Twomey and Pete Sutton.

This was a fairly tight game being 7 all at nine ends but by picking up 10 ends and three 3s,  we came home "musical winners" 18 - 12!

Rink 2

Richard Lawrence, Pete Griffin and Chris Skidmore.

At 12 ends we were 5 - 10 down but by taking the last six ends with a total of 15 points they handed in a card showing a 10 point victory 20 - 10.

Rink 3

Cliff Hall, Terri Gold and Bryan Ogilvie.

A brilliant performance by the home team after a slow start as at 11 ends they were trailing by a point but they took 13 ends, including the last 7, to claim the bragging rights with a 26 - 9 victory.

Rink 4

Kath Buckingham, Paul Jones and Mark Stokes.

Another close game where they only picked up 7 ends but heavier scoring, three 4s and a 3, saw them home by two points 17 - 15.

Rink 5

Tony Bird, Howard Buckingham and Len Selby -  AKA The Ramsey Street Trio - they are all neighbours!

A very tight match with only two points difference at any time saw a fairly predictable draw at 11 points each.
