Our first mid week afternoon game of the season saw us entertain Shipston Sports on a dry but chilly day with the sun making an appearance just before we finished!  Adderbury won 3 rinks to 1 but the overall score was 86 - 54 in our favour.

 

 

 

Rink 1

 

Yvonne Twomey, Mick Wilkins and Bryan Ogilvie were never really troubled as they picked up 10 ends and three threes, two fours and a six saw them home with a winning margin of 20 points 29 - 9.

 

 

 

Rink 2

 

Kath Buckingham, Peter Wells and Chris Twomey didn't let the opposition get a score until the 7th end and by picking up 11 ends handed in a card showing a 9 point victory 19 - 10.

 

 

 

Rink 3

 

Tony Bird. Pete Griffin and Chris Skidmore "got the job done" despite dropping a four to claim 10 ends with an eight point win 22 - 14.

 

 

 

Rink 4

 

Howard Buckingham, Richard Lawrence and Len Selby were in a very tight game and were 16 all at 17 ends but managed to drop a five on the last end to come home 16 - 21.
